Les Ferdinand MBE is Director of Football at QPR. One of football’s most popular statesmen, having excelled as a player at QPR, Newcastle and Tottenham, Les is one of the greatest strikers to play in the Premiership where he scored 149 league goals. He was capped 17 times for England and was part of the Euro 96 and World Cup 98 squads. He was named PFA player of the Year in 1996 and in 2005 he was awarded an MBE.


He was assistant manager at Tottenham Hotspur FC alongside Tim Sherwood after previously coaching the Tottenham Academy and U.21 sides. Alongside his coaching career he has established himself in TV as a football analyst where he works for the BBC, ITV and as an analyst for the Premier League Channel and for BeIN Sports for whom he covered the World Cup in 2010 and Euro 2012.

Les Ferdinand is one of football’s most popular statesmen.  After finishing his career in football Les worked for the BBC on Final Score and Match of the Day before signing with Setanta when they launched their Premier League coverage in the UK.

Les is an ambassador for Taylor Made Golf and for the St. Lucian tourist board.

He is currently leading a campaign to raise awareness of Prostate Cancer in the UK and was part of the Nivea For Men Euro 2012 promotion.
