Owen Hargreaves is lead analyst on BT Sport’s Premier League, FA Cup and Europa League coverage.
Owen was born in Canada but began his professional soccer career playing for German team Bayern Munich where he won four league titles and a Champions League crown. He moved to Manchester United in May 2007, ending his 10 year association as both a youth and senior player with the German side. In his first season with Man United he went on to win the Champions League and Premier League.
Owen represented his country at U19 and U21 level and went on to represent England 42 times at Euro 2004 and the 2006 World Cup in Germany where he was England’s player of the tournament.
Forced to retire with injury, Owen is now embarking on a new career in the media with BT Sport.
